Flu Shot Juice

I call this #juice "Flu Shot", because it has #Kale, #Lemon, #Ginger and #apple in it. This blend is suitable for cold seasons.

To make "Flu Shot", you need a juicer, cutting board and a sharp knife.


Ingredients


5-6 kale stems and leaves

1 lemon

3 ginger slices

2-3 apples (Green or red)


This drink is tangy and spicy but you can adjust it to your taste by adding more lemon or ginger to make it sour and spicy or add more apple to make it milder and sweeter.


What you are getting from this drink:


Kale provides #vitamin A, K, B6 and C, #Calcium, #potassium, #copper and #manganese

Lemon is a rich source of #vitaminC. It also has #potasium and #vitaminB6

Ginger has #vitaminB3 and #B6, #iron, potassium, magnesium

Apples are another source of vitamin C, potassium and vitamin K


Looking at the vitamins and minerals in this juice you can see why I call it "Flu Shot". I can say that the high amount of vitamin C, vitamin B and iron makes this drink a wonderful choice for cold days. I can ensure you that drinking this juice also makes you happier. First because you are drinking something healthy and second: with the first sip you can't think of anything but the taste of this drink.
